Cadillac Sales Rise 7.3 Percent Globally in April

Cadillac's global expansion continued in April with sales rising 7 percent, totaling 23,318 vehicles worldwide. Through April, Cadillac global sales are up 5.3 percent year to date. The 2015 Escalade continues its torrid sales pace in all markets in which it is offered. Total sales of the SUV were up 144 percent in the U.S., 652 percent in Canada, 354 percent in the Middle East and 314 percent in Mexico. Overall Cadillac sales in Mexico were up 107 percent last month, driven by increases for the Escalade, SRX and ATS product lines. Cadillac's average transaction price in the U.S. reached more than $54,000 – an all-time record and the best among all full-line luxury brands for the second consecutive month.
