JAGUAR LAND ROVER HONORED WITH TWO 2014 MOTORWEEK DRIVERS' CHOICE AWARDS• 2014 Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible wins 'Best Convertible'

• 2014 Range Rover Sport wins 'Best Dream Machine'

(MAHWAH, NJ) – February 6, 2014 - MotorWeek has named the 2014 Jaguar F-TYPE 'Best Convertible' and the 2014 Range Rover Sport 'Best Dream Machine' as part of its 2014 Drivers' Choice Awards. These honors highlight the momentum each brand has demonstrated coming into 2014.

'Jaguar F-TYPE and Range Rover Sport both winning awards this year from MotorWeek is a tremendous honor. It's a true testament of our

on-going commitment to produce cars and SUVs that stand out in the marketplace for luxury, design and capability,' said Joe Eberhardt, President, Jaguar Land Rover North America.

The MotorWeek Drivers' Choice Awards are consumer focused and represent the best automotive picks for a large range of lifestyles. MotorWeek's editorial staff evaluates more than 150 cars, trucks and sports utility vehicles. Winners are chosen based on performance, technology, practicality, fuel efficiency and dollar value. MotorWeek is one of the nation's leading sources for the latest car and truck reviews, do-it-yourself car care tips and auto industry news. Produced by Maryland Public Television, the award-winning series is now in its 33rd season and currently airs on PBS, Velocity and V-me Spanish-language network. Full episodes can also be viewed on pbs.org.

'Finally Jaguar has returned to its sports car roots,' said John Davis, Executive Producer with MotorWeek. 'But, they didn't just look to the past. The new F-TYPE is totally modern, very luxurious, with road manners that would be impressive on a car twice its price. If you have ever longed for the glory days of Jaguar, they're back with the F-TYPE. Equally as impressive in a different manner is the 2014 Range Rover Sport. It's a great-looking SUV and its comfort level is outstanding. Its sporty driving dynamics and menacing exhaust note are worth dreaming about.'

Jaguar Land Rover recently announced its strongest ever full year global sales performance. Jaguar recorded a 42% year on year increase in sales, selling 76,668 vehicles in 2013 - its strongest full year sales performance since 2005. Land Rover set a new full year sales record retailing 348,338 vehicles in 2013, up 15% on the prior year, with an incredible performance from Range Rover Sport which was close to equaling its prior record set in 2007, despite the all-new model having only been on sale for part of the year.

The Jaguar F-TYPE represents a return to the company's heart: a two-seat, convertible sports car focused on performance, agility and driver involvement. This Jaguar car is a continuation of a sporting bloodline that stretches back more than 75 years and encompasses some of the most beautiful, thrilling and desirable sports cars ever built. The 2014 F-TYPE combines low vehicle weight, high power and superb aerodynamics to achieve a pure sports car experience, yet with Jaguar elegance and luxury. The F-TYPE is powered respectively by the new Jaguar supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine in 340hp and 380hp outputs and a 495hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8. The F-TYPE Coupe debuted at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show this past November, will go on sale in spring 2014 and is available in three models: F-TYPE Coupe, F-TYPE S Coupe and F-TYPE R Coupe and starts at $65,000*.
