Maranello, 7 May – In a behind-the-scenes special in the gym at Fiorano, we look at the physical preparation required for a pit stop. This tricky high-speed procedure involves a crew of 22 who, in order to perform their allotted tasks, undergo a tailor-made training programme.

The film, shot between the Chinese and Spanish Grands Prix shows how Scuderia Ferrari relies on a group of specialists, coordinated by Medex, the Maranello team's official medical partner. It works with specialists from the Italian Olympic Committee's Institute of Medicine and Science and a team of sports trainers, provided by Technogym, who follow every member of the pit crew, subjecting them to regular monthly tests.
