AUBURN, Indiana (July 11, 2014) – Auctions America is delighted to announce an exciting group of private collections to be offered at the company's flagship Auburn Fall collector car weekend, August 27 – 31 at the historic Auburn Auction Park. Building on the success of private collections presented at the company's outstanding 2013 Auburn Fall and 2014 Auburn Spring events, the upcoming 1200-car Labor Day weekend sale will feature a diverse group of American and European examples from both a prominent private collection and the respected David Disiere Collection in addition to shining a spotlight on several other small single-vendor collections.

Headlining the offering is no less than 80 vehicles from a prominent private collection, presented entirely without reserve. Largely American in focus, yet incredibly diverse, this group is led by a rare, original factory-built 1962 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster, a restored 1950 Mercury 255 Cl Convertible presented in as-new condition, a 1936 Ford Deluxe Roadster in a rare shade of yellow, and a 1929 Packard Series 633 Opera Coupe —an eight-cylinder American Classic. European highlights slated for the auction block include a fully restored 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8, a largely original 1972 DeTomaso Pantera, a model which has enjoyed increasing popularity in recent years, and a 1994 Ferrari 348 Spyder in the desirable color combination of Serra Blue with a Cream interior.

Auctions America's Auburn Fall sale will also lift the gavel on no less than 20 cars from The David Disiere Collection of Texas. With a great eye for quality and attention to detail, Mr. Disiere's collection boasts everything from European sports cars to American Pre-War examples, 50s American styling and a group of rare muscle cars. Highlights include a recently restored 1948 Town & Country Convertible, complete with its original interior and classified as a CCCA Full Classic, a beautifully restored 1954 Cadillac Eldorado, a highly desirable factory four-speed 1968 Shelby GT500 KR Fastback, a low-mileage 1987 Ferrari Testarossa presented in nearly perfect condition, and a 1946 Lincoln Continental Indy Pace Car. The David Disiere Collection will also be offered entirely without reserve, selling to the highest bidder.

'The latest Auburn Fall entries once again demonstrate Auctions America's reputation as a leader in the sale of private collections at auction,' says Donnie Gould, president of Auctions America. 'We're thrilled to offer the exceptional variety that the 80-car private collection brings to the sale, in addition to the Disiere Collection, a wonderful group that any discerning collector would be proud to own. What better place to offer these exciting collections than the Classic Car Capital of America?'

Further reinforcing Auctions America's reputation as an auction house of choice for the sale of private and estate collections, additional single-vendor collections slated for the Auburn Fall podium include: nine vehicles from The Roy Collection, primarily focused on iconic American muscle and headlined by a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/435; along with nine additional cars from the prominent Midwest Duffy Grove Collection, led by a beautifully restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible.
