|More Than 500 Historic Race Cars Accepted for Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion|
| Largest Field of Corvettes Ever Entered
The field for this year's Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is taking shape as 533 historic race cars have been initially accepted for the August 16-18 event. The Governing Committee has the option of accepting an additional 17 cars to complete the grid for the annual race at Mazda Raceway Laquna Seca.
'What a joyous moment it is to get the notification that my car and I have been accepted to the event,' said Pen Pendelton of Los Angeles, Calif., who will be driving a 1961 Alsbury Special. 'It is really an honor to be a part of something so special.'
The iconic Chevrolet Corvette is the featured marque and the Chevrolet Motor Division will be on hand to celebrate the marque's 60th anniversary and 50th anniversary of the Corvette Grand Sport. There are currently 58 authentic and race-proven Corvettes that have been accepted, highlighted by three Corvette Grand Sports, of which only five were ever constructed under the watchful eye of Zora Arkus-Duntov, who is widely hailed as the 'father of the Corvette.'

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA – April 17 , 2014 - The 22nd annual Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California on Sunday September 14 has increased the number of its classes from 20 to 22. The changes result from adding a class for Chryslers designed by Virgil Exner and dividing Post War American into two classes - 1957-1958 and 1959 to 1966.
