The third round of the International GT Open series took place today at the Spa circuit, with the 50 minute Race 2 held in the rain. After winning Race 1 with AF Corse, Ferrari was back on the podium with another of its cars: driving for Kessel Racing, Daniel Zampieri and Michael Dalle Stelle drove a great race at the wheel of the 458 GT3, to take their first and well deserved win in the GTS class, also finishing third overall. Fifth and fourth in the SGT class for the winners of Race 1, Federico Leo and Gimmi Bruni in an AF Corse Ferrari 458 GT2, after they suffered in the poor conditions. At the start, Leo had to deal with a wet track and poor visibility, before handing over the wheel to Gimmi Bruni who drove to the chequered flag, after a nice climb up the order which took him from 15th to fifth place in just a few laps. At the end of the event in the Ardennes, Ferrari keeps the lead in the constructors' championship in the Super GT class and in GTS.
The next round of the series is at Brands Hatch, England over the weekend of 15 July.
