1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Series 105 Roadster

The Giulia series of cars which followed the Giulietta - Alfa Romeo's postwar bacon saver - was itself an icon, at least with the cars of the 1960s. Giulia meant a four-door sedan, a two-door coupe (the GT) and an open two-seater spider, the Duetto. The GTC was a Giulia GT coupe with the roof-cut off - entirely cabriolet, hence GTC, as opposed to spider - still retaining the four-seats of its sourcing chassis. Close to 1000 were made, split approximately 50/50 between 1965 and 1966. Frankly, the car was not strong enough and thus few remain running and as well preserved as this one. While the Giulia GT was a small performance coupe with few peers, the GTC is more cruiser.
