1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Coupe

This is the ultimate barn find. This car was literally up to its axles in mud in a barn in the country. But it was complete and it still had the original drivetrain. Originally white with a parchment interior, the owners chose to make it black with the same interior. The 'K' code engine produces 271 horsepower from a 289 cubic-inch displacement and it was the engine chosen by Carol Shelby for the Mustang GT350. It has been restored using only the finest in parts. The car had been sitting in a barn for over 30 years. It required several days of work and an excavating tractor to extricate it from the mud. The good news is that the mud slowed the progression of rust, so the car was completely original when it was finally freed. Two years of painstaking restoration followed, bring the car back to running condition.
