1967 Saab 95 Station Wagon

This 1967 Saab 95 Station Wagon is a two-door, seven-seat wagon with a folding, rear-facing seat, front-wheel drive, and a rebuilt V-4 engine. It is believed to have been originally purchased in Northern California in 1967 and sold 12 years later to another Californian, who rebuilt the engine and had the car repainted. It was placed into dry storage in 1990 where it would remain for the next two decades. Although a 'minimal' restoration was planned when it emerged from its slumber, a ground-up, all-encompassing nut-and-bolt restoration was performed by European specialist Igor Boun of Northern California. When the work was completed, it wore a Mercedes-Benz code, deep wine metallic finish. The interior was redone in Palomino MB-Tex weave with bamboo rattan pattern accents in the cargo area. SAAB Sonett 'soccer ball' alloy sports wheels were added, featuring body-color inserts and polished details. They were wrapped with period whitewall radial tires.

Currently, this Saab 95 has 741 miles on its odometer post-restoration.
