Chassis number BEX468 was number 357 of the 475 Bristols built by the factory. It was dispatched to Andre Chardonnet's foreign car dealership in Pantin, France on June 19th of 1958. The earliest known caretaker of the car was Mr. Scheisbek of California, who is documented as having owned the car in the early 1970s. Mr. Forrest Faulkner of San Francisco was listed as another owner two decades later. Mr. Faulkner commissioned a complete restoration that cost over $50,000. The car remained in the Faulkner family until 2002, at which time the current owner purchased the car. The new owner treated the car to a concours-level restoration. It was finished in metallic silver with a black leather interior.
In 2011, the car was offered for sale at the Gooding & Company auction in Scottsdale, Az. The car was sold for the sum of $258,500 including buyer's premium.
