This restored 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88 features the high performance J-2 (triple carburetor) V-8 motor that developed an amazing 312 horsepower from 371 cubic-inches.
The J-2 powered Oldsmobile were a favorite of NASCAR driver Richard Petty, who drove Oldsmobiles with his father, Lee Petty. The cars were winners - but NASCAR eventually banned multiple carburetor motors.
Before coming to Ohio, this Oldsmobile spent most of its life in California, where it was restored and appeared in the film 'Chasin' the Fifties.' The car is equipped with many authentic factory options. It was a first place winner at the 2009 Oldsmobile National Meet.
