The design of chassis number B35BL, a three-position Drophead coupe, was selected by its first owner, the Earl of Feversham. The coachbuilder, Thrupp and Maberly, delivered ten similar bodies at a cost of $10,000 each - over ten times the cost of a Cadillac at the time. Neal Kirkham purchased this car in 1988 and immediately embarked on a Rolls-Royce Owners' Club tour from Florida to Canada. On another RROC tour, this Derby was driven across the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas visiting Death Valley, the Tioga Pass and Yosemite Park. In 1989 Kirkham began a full restoration. At Pebble Beach in 1998, this car placed First in Class among Derby Bentleys.
