Vincenzo Lancia was first associated with Fiat, but in 1906 founded his own firm for the manufacture of high-quality, technically-advanced motor cars. Many models were produced over the years, with the much admired Aurelia debuting in 1950. This innovative model has a V-6 engine with a transaxle driving the rear wheels and inboard rear brakes.
