1927 Rolls-Royce Phantom I'Playboys' were replacement bodies. When Rolls-Royce of America found themselves with too many used limousines, they would remove the limousine bodies from good chassis and have Brewster fit Playboys. These were relatively inexpensive bodies without some of the 'niceties' such as a door for the rumble seat. This particular example has won first place at the Burn Prevention Concours, Bethlehem, PA; the Radnor-Hunt Concours, Wyndham, PA; the Classic Car Club of America, Mount Olive, NJ; and at the Antique Automobile Club of America, Hershey, PA.
