This 1925 Bugatti Type 35A is chassis number 4631 powered by engine number 93A. It has been previously owned by Louis Hoffman of Hoffman LaRoche Chemicals and driven by Louis Chiron and Juan Ollivier. Chiron was the champion in 1929 and 1930 and Ollivier was a Bugatti agent in Marseilles, France.
This car was raced in the 1925 & 1926 Provence Grand Prix held in Mirimas, France. It participated in the 1926 French Grand Prix in Hill Climb events from 1926 through 1942.
This car was imported to the US in 1958; it was stored from 1967 through 1997. In 1997 a restoration began which lasted until 2005. This car is 90% original and all previous ownership is fully documented.Also photographed at :
