This 1961 Maserati 3500 GT Spider wears coachwork by Vignale and is one of only 248 examples ever created. It is a concours-winning example fitted with a rare optional factory hardtop. It has a unique white over red color combination and rides on Borrani wire wheels.
In 2009, this Maserati was offered for sale by Gooding & Company at their Pebble Beach auction. The car was estimated to sell for $250,000 - $350,000. As bidding came to a close, the lot had been sold for the sum of $253,000, including buyer's premium.
