The J & A Nicklausse Company of Paris started building boilers in 1890 and cars in 1906. The round style of the radiator grill of its cars echoes the shape of its earlier products. The car has the 30-hp, 4-cylinder T-head engine that was the mainstay of the range throughout the company's car production, which lasted until the outbreak of World War I in 1914. Until it was acquired by Peter Mullin in 2006, this touring model had been owned by the same family in Barcelona, Spain, that purchased it when new. It is in completely original condition.
