In 1977, Pontiac's personal luxury models were comprised of the Grand Prix, Grand Prix SJ and the Grand Prix LJ. Of these three, the sportiest model was the SJ version. It had a larger 400 cubic-inch V8, GR70 tires, Rally II wheels, accent striping, bucket seats, Rally handling package and rally gauges.
This Grand Prix was donated to the GM Heritage Collection by Mr. Bob Proctor in 2007 and is an original Michigan car with just over 31,000 miles on the odometer. Options on this car were air conditioning, AM/FM stereo, body-side moldings and power windows.
