    1958 Chevrolet Corvette C1This Corvette is one of Panama Yellow 1958 Corvettes produced. It has white coves and a white convertible top. It has the optional 270 horsepower V8 engine with legendary engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov cam and dual four-barrel carburetors. It is one of 970 examples produced for 1958. There is a 4.11:1 Positraction axle and a four-speed close-ratio transmission. The car is fully optioned with Wonder Bar radio, courtesy lights, emergency brakes warning light and windshield washers.

    The car has been meticulously restored and received its Top Flight Award at the NCRS meet in Minneapolis on August 19th of 2006, scoring 95.6 points. The car was acquired by the Karl Blade Collection in January 2008 and has received a complete mechanical servicing and expert tune-up

    In the summer of 2011, the car was sold to its next owner. In 2012, the car was offered for sale at the RM Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was estimated to sell for $90,000-$110,000 and offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for the sum of $132,000 inclusive of buyer's premium.
