This display piece allows onlookers to see the inner workings of a 1969 L-88 Corvette Stingray. Without the fiberglass body panels in place, one can get a good look at the chassis and powertrain that made the L-88 Corvettes so legendary.
The current owner was ready to try something new with this L88 that would blow away the Corvette world. With two main goals in mind, he and his crew came up with a unique over-the-top idea. First they wanted to set this car apart from the other L88s that were out there. Second, they wanted to do a project that would showcase their work in the Corvette restoration and repair business. They are very much into attention to detail and wanted a project that would highlight that. The plan was to create a completely functional, street legal L88 with no body. Creating it this way would allow them to show the world what they never get to see, everything that is underneath the body - the heart and soul of one of the Chevrolet's most famous cars. The project was given the name, 'The See-Thru Corvette' and the painstaking work began. The staff of Corvette Repair are proud of their teamwork, their shared talent and their equal desire to produce great workmanship. Also photographed at :
