This Ferrari 166MM, chassis number 0004 with engine number 0002M, wears custom Barchetta coachwork by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan. This example is the second car built in the production run of approximately 24. It was also the 1949 Ferrari Salon car. From 1949 through 1957, the car was successfully raced in several Mille Miglias and other noted races. This Touring Barchetta is fitted with several racing options.

After its racing career ended, it was on display at the Harrahs Collection from 1967 until the closing of Harrahs. Since then, it has been in a private collection of the East Coast of the United States.
