    1956 Aston Martin DBR1This is the prototype DBR1/1 that first raced at LeMans in 1956 driven by Tony Brooks and Peg Parnell. Its racing history continued through the second half of the 1950s at the Nurburgring, Sebring and Goodwood, where it finished second at the 1958 Tourist Trophy driven by Roy Salvadori and Jack Brabham. Its final factory outing was at the Nurburgring in 1959 when it won the 1000 kilometer race driven by Jack Fairman and Stirling Moss, securing the World Sports Car Championship title for Aston Martin.
