1969 Intermeccanica ItaliaThe Intermeccanica Italia was the masterpiece of Frank Reisner with coachwork by Franco Scaglione. Production ran from 1967 through 1970. The total production was approximately 470 automobiles.

This Italia was highly modified in the 1980s by Andy Granatelli. The monocoque structured was altered to accept coil-over suspension and a Corvette drive train (LS-1) was installed.

This Italia received a cosmetic restoration in 2010.
