A Decade of Collecting

In the ten years since Margie and Robert E. Petersen founded the Petersen Automotive Museum, the collection has grown to include over 150 vehicles and hundreds of other automotive-related objects. To highlight some of the more recent acquisitions—and enlighten museum visitors about the collecting objectives—the Petersen Museum has gathered a number of significant vehicles and related items for a special exhibition that will help celebrate their tenth anniversary. The wide variety of objects featured will assist visitors with understanding the acquisition priorities and explain the vital role that enthusiasts and historians continue to play in making the collection one of the nation's finest.
