1930 Packard Series 734 Eight Speedster Runabout

Packard's 1930-only Speedster series offered five models including this boattail speedster. The platform measured 134.5-inch platform and was fitted with special features such as a ribbed exhaust manifold, a dual-throat Detroit Lubricator carburetor that helped boost horsepower to 145, and a higher ratio four-speed transmission. Inside, there were staggered seats for two. This example, a boat-tail speedster, had a price tag of $5,210. The current owner of this car has been its caretaker for 25 years.
