1936 Chrysler Imperial Airflow C10 Sedan

The Chrysler Airflow was produced for only a short period, lasting from 1934 through 1937. Its design was modern and aerodynamic, yet it was shunned by many potential customers. This radically different product was introduced during a severe economic downturn which may have played a contributing factor to the car's downfall. Many potential buyers simply could not afford to buy a new car at the time.

The C-10 was the most popular Airflow that year with about 4,500 examples sold and most of those being the sedan body style. Compared to the Chrysler Airflow, the Imperial model had longer front fender valance panels, cowl side panels, and hood ventilators. Standard equipment included an aluminum cylinder head, automatic overdrive transmission, two-barrel carburetor, and power brakes.

This example is essentially original except for a re-paint. It has over 100,000 miles on the odometer.
