2006 Ferrari P4/5 Coupe

When Andrea Pininfarina approached James Glickenhaus of MJJV Cars to commission a one-off, there was little hesitation. They took the newest model of the Ferrari supercar and redesigned it as a modern interpretation of a 1967 Ferrari 330 P3/4. The brand new Enzo along with the chassis of a 330 P3/4 (number 0846) were dispatched to Pininfarina, and the adventure commenced. The design of the new creation became a family affair as Mr. Glickenhaus and his son were body-scanned to ensure a perfect fit in the cockpit, and his daughter selected the seat coverings, which were later adopted for the F 430 Scuderia. The nose was reconfigured to prevent scraping, the tires were enlarged, almost 400 pounds of weight was removed and design cues from Dino Competizione and Ferrari 512S race cars were implemented. It took almost 18 months for Pininfarina to design, engineer, and build the new supercar and the end product was such that Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, former Chairman of Ferrari, declared it to be an official Ferrari - christening it 'Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina.' This amazing supercar won the Design Award at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este and appeared at the Paris Motor Show and on the Concept Lawn at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2016. Not just a pretty face, this unique Ferrari has run the Historic Targa Florio and covered thousands of miles of track and road across the globe.
