1982 March 82G Coupe

Chassis number 004 was the fourth example built and raced as a Group C Works entrant in the Silverstone 6-Hour race and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Fitted with a small-block Chevrolet V8, the car found little success against its strong opposition. It was later sold to North American-based privateers Randy Lanier and Marty Hinze, who competed in the remaining IMSA GTP races. They were able to achieve podium finishes at both Mosport and Mid-Ohio.

It was sold at the end of the season and raced sparingly in 1983. Currently, the car is in restored condition and continues to race in vintage events.
