1984 Rolls-Royce Camargue Coupe

This Rolls-Royce Camargue is a late-production example that was originally invoiced to Rolls-Royce Motors International in Lausanne, Switzerland, on January 24, 1984. It was built as a left-hand drive car and finished in coral with a cream Everflex roof and leather upholstery in magnolia. An interesting feature of this car was that it was the 1984 Geneva Motor Show car, after which it returned to the United Kingdom. It is believed that it was then sold to the United States. Since then, the car has traveled just 35,164 miles.

The car is powered by an alloy V8 engine and fitted with a Bosch fuel injection system. There is a three-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel disc brakes.

In 2010, this Camargue was offered for sale at the Gooding & Company auction held in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was estimated to sell for $90,000 - $110,000 and offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the lot had been sold for the sum of $35,200, including buyer's premium.
