This 1984 Porsche 969 Turbo by Rinspeed was one of two Rinspeeds acquired by Donald L. Weber. This particular example is based on the 930 Turbo and its unique custom bodywork has pop-up headlights, massive rear flares, side strakes, a sloped nose, adjustable Recaro seats, and a Pioneer stereo system. It is believed that as few as 12 similar examples were built. This Rinspeed has just under 10,000 miles on its odometer.
The 3,299cc flat 6-cylinder engine uses a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and a single KKK turbocharger helping to deliver 300 horsepower at 5,500 RPM. There is a four-speed manual transmission and ventilated disc brakes at all four corners.By Daniel Vaughan | Nov 2021
