This car is one of ten with special high-performance engine. The cars first owner, Mercedes-Benz enthuiast Erwin Goldschmidt, won the Watkins-Glen Grand Prix. The car has the race factory hardtop and a matching set of luggage. It also has the unique, lightweight Rudge Wheels and twenty extra horsepower over the standard six-cylinder engine. Top speed was around 155 mph.

This car was offered for sale at the 2006 RM Auction in Monterey California where it was sold for $605,000.
