Packards were produced in Detroit, Michigan and were made from 1899 until the company's demise in 1958.
In the 1930's, Packard attempted to beat the depression by producing ever more opulent vehicles. Packard had one advantage that the other manufacturers didn't - a single production line.
This Packard was manufactured in February of 1933, and was referred to as the '10 Series.' The vehicle was shipped to the Packard dealer in Seattle, Washington and delivered to a doctor. The price of this Model 1001 was stunning: $3,300 in 1933.
This vehicle has been completely restored from the frame up. Its first 'post-restoration' event was the 2008 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance. | |
