This rare and significant Buick is built on a 1953 Roadmaster chassis, and is powered by a renowned Buick Fireball V-8. The car has a metal 'S.O.' tag under the hood, signifying that it was a 'Special Order' built by GM. The mileage is original and the car has had a thorough on-chassis restoration. The rear top folds down limousine-style, via electric-hydraulic power. Note the leather tie-down straps on the rear compartment. The rear bumper is also unique in that it hinged and conceals the spare tire. With the exception of the chauffeur's front seat, it is outfitted in typical limousine opulence, and is an exceptionally rare car. | ||||||||||||||
