High bid of $120,000 at 2009 RM Auctions. (did not sell)
This 1931 Cadillac Series 355-A Phaeton is a former AACA Senior Award winner. It has been giving a restoration since new, and is finished in a white exterior with gleaming brightwork and a black folding top with red piping. There is a top boot, side curtains, dual Trippe lights, dual fender-mounted lights, dual side-mounted spare tires with rear view mirrors, dual chrome-plated spotlights, a 'low-boy' trunk, red painted steel wire wheels, bright hubcaps and wide whitewall tires.

In 2009, this example was offered for sale at the Vintage Motor Cars of Meadow Brook presented by RM Auctions. It was estimated to sell for $125,000 - $175,000. As bidding came to a close, the lot had failed to sell after receiving a high bid of $120,000.
