1954 Chrysler New Yorker Town & Country Wagon

For 1954, Chrysler offered two wagons - the base-level Windsor Deluxe and the up-market New Yorker. The New Yorker Town & Country was available in a four-door, six-passenger form with a base price of $4,024. In total, just 1,100 examples were built and basic features included a disappearing tailgate window and rear-door vent windows. Power was from a 330 cubic-inch Hemi engine offering nearly 200 horsepower in stock form.

This Town and Country Wagon has had just three owners since new. It is a restored example that was originally sold from a Montana dealership. This was a special order vehicle that was likely displayed at the Jefferson North Showroom in Detroit prior to being shipped. It has a special 'show room' tag attached to the firewall, just under the trim tag, along with markings on the firewall. The first and second owners both lived in Spokane, Washington.

The car retains 100 percent of its original body panels. The interior wood is also original to the car. It rides on authentic wire wheels and Diamond Black wide whitewall radial tires.
