The 1932 Cadillac was a handsome vehicle with many aesthetic and mechanic improvements; sadly, it was met with an economy that was unable to partake in quantities worthy of its beauty. A mere 2,693 Cadillac's were sold in 1932, down from 10,709 from just a year before. This particular example is the product of a complete restoration. It is finished in black with red pin striping, red wheels, and a gray broadcloth interior. During the restoration, the bright-work was re-chromed, new wiring installed and gauges restored. This car features dual side mounted spares, a luggage rack and the goddess hood ornament. Before being sold at auction, the car had been in the same family for 45 years. It still has its original factory build sheet. By Daniel Vaughan | Apr 2008 | |||||||
