Designer: Louis Chevrolet
Chassis Num: 14556125

This car was built for Ford Dealer, Barber Warnock of Indiana, by Louis Chevrolet and his brothers based on Ford's Model T chassis.

When Chevrolet's sold their company, they could not use the Chevrolet name so they called their cars Frontenac, which were very successful race cars. In fact, Gaston Chevrolet won the 1920 Indianapolis 500 in the Frontenac.

This example is one of three built for the 1924 Indianapolis 500. #26 was driven by Bill Hunt and finished 14th. #27 was driven by Fred Harder and finished 17th. #28 was driven by Alfred E. Moss (Stirling Moss's father) which finished 16th.
