This 1968 Ford Thunderbird Coupe was offered for sale at the 2007 Sports and Classic Car Auction presented by The Worldwide Group, in Hilton Head Island, SC where it was estimated to sell for $10,000 - $15,000. It was offered without reserve. It is powered by an N-Code Thunderjet 429 cubic-inch V8 engine and mated to a C-6 automatic transmission. It has factory air conditioning, power steering, factory console, and power brakes. There are sequential turn signals which is a unique feature to the Ford Motor Company and only appeared for a few years on select automobiles. The N code is a very rare and important option and offered for only half of the model year in 1968. At auction this car did find a new owner, and one who received a bargain.
