When the car left the factory, it was painted in Cameo Ivory. It is currently painted in Blue Charcoal and is one of only 6,205 2+2 Catalinas that were given the Hydramatic transmission. (There were 11,521 Catalinas fitted with the 2+2 package). The original owner of this vehicle purchased it at Flowers Pontiac-Cadillac in Galveston, Texas. It remained with that owner until 2006. It has been given a restoration. It is fitted with air conditioning, eight lug wheels, red line tires, bucket seats, console, wood-grain steering wheel, power steering, power brakes, and power antenna. In 2009, this Catalina 2+2 Hardtop was offered for sale at the Houston Classic Auction in Seabrook, Texas presented by Worldwide Auctioneers. The lot was estimated to sell for $35,000 - $45,000. It failed to sell after achieving a high bid of $23,000. By Daniel Vaughan | May 2009 | |||||||
