Mid-way through 1961 its rear was modified and it was painted white with two blue stripes. In this livery, it was brought to the 24 Hours of LeMans where it was driven by Cunningham and Bill Kimberly. It finished in a very impressive 8th overall.
The car later had further modifications to its tail, displayed in the Cunningham Museum, and raced at the Monterey Historic Races.
