The Master Six was offered in ten bodystyles that ranged from Sedans, DeLuxe Sedan, Coupe, Tourer, Brougham Sedan, Sport Roadster, Country Club Coupe, and Sport Tourer. The current owner purchased the car from two brothers, who had found the car in Stockton, California and performed a restoration on it over a 31 year period. It is believed that the restoration cost nearly $300,000. The car has since been shown at various events throughout the United States and has won First in Class and Best of Show on numerous occasions. It has earned its Senior status with the Buick Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America in 1993. The car is painted in green and has a mohair interior with walnut trim and wood dash gauge faces. There are bumpers, artillery wheels, etched wind-wings, a radio receiver, rear heater, bud vases and a leather rear-mounted trunk. In 2009, this Master Six Brougham Sedan was offered for sale at the Automobiles of Amelia Island auction presented by RM Auctions. The car was estimated to sell for $45,000 - $65,000. The lot was sold for a high bid of $56,100, including buyer's premium. By Daniel Vaughan | Apr 2009 | |||||||
