This, the 1974 Greenwood Corvette Roadster, was the first production based car to use body-generated downforce.

This car had two IMSA wins in 1974, Talladega and Daytona Final. During 1974 and 1975 IMSA it qualified on the pole eleven times. It still holds the speed record at Daytona at 236 MPH, as the track was changed because of its speed. It was nicknamed 'The Batmobile' at car shows due to its outrageous flares. John Goodwood was the promoter of the 12-hours of Sebring, thus the name.
