Sold for $49,500 at 2007 RM Auctions.
The Prowler was introduced at the 1993 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan and was instantly hailed as an attractive automobile that married style with performance. It was a modern street rod that enjoyed a production lifespan from 1997 until 2002. It was produced by the Plymouth marque until 2001 when the Plymouth name was discontinued. The Chrysler Company produced the car beginning in 2002.

The car is powered by a V6 engine that displaces 3.5-liter and produces over 250 horsepower. They were given a four-speed Autostick gearbox and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The body was formed from aluminum in a style reminiscent of the open-wheel roadsters of the 1930s.

This 2002 Chrysler Prowler with Trailer was offered for sale at the 2007 RM Auctions held at Meadow Brook. The car was offered without reserve and estimated to fetch between $40,000 - $60,000. There are just 78 miles on the odometer and is one of just 1,436 examples produced in 2002. It is one of only 301 examples finished in Deep Candy Red. Needless to say, it is in excellent and original condition. The car was purchased with power windows and door locks, a 320-watt sound system with six-disc CD changer, and a matching rear-end inspired trailer still in the original factory crating.

At auction, this car did find a new owner, and one that was willing to pay nearly $50,000 to own this soon-to-be American classic. The car was sold for $49,500.
