Coupe Designer: Pininfarina Chassis Num: 2729GT Engine Num: 282 E   This 1961 Ferrari 250GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione is a left-hand drive vehicle with chassis number 2729GT. It is finished in grey metallic and was the 25th example constructed. Its first owner was Pierre Dumay who used it in the 1961 24 Hours of LeMans. It raced at the Trophée d'Auvergne, Pescara, Germany Grand prix, 1000km Paris, and the Coupes de Paris in 1961. In 1963, Dumay raced it in the Japan Grand Prix. It passed through several owners throughout the years. In 1993 it was purchased by its current owner; a year later it was treated to a restoration by European Auto Restorations. It brought to the 1994 International Ferrari Concours, in Monterey, California where it was awarded a Second in Class. It was also shown at the Quail Lodge and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
