Sold for $61,600 at 2008 RM Auctions.
Buick produced 5,588 examples of the Century Convertible Coupe in 1955. This example has been given a complete body-ff restoration since new and finished in orange. It has a white power-operated convertible top and an abundance of chrome accents. There are dual chrome mirrors and an orange top boot. On all four-corners of the car are 40-spoke Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels fitted with period correct whitewall tires.

The interior is white leather upholstery with orange carpeting. It is equipped with an optional Dynaflow automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. There is a Sonomatic AM radio with a power antenna, power windows, heater, defroster, and an electric clock. In the trunk there is a bumper jack and a spare tire that is mounted on a chrome wire wheel. Under the hood is a correct 322 cubic-inch V8 that promises 236 horsepower.

In 2008 this 1955 Buick Century Convertible was brought to RM Auctions 'Vintage Motor Cars of Meadow Brook' where it was estimated to sell for $60,000-$80,000. As bidding came to a close, the lot was sold for a high bid of $61,600 including buyer's premium.
