The car has been given a restoration bringing it back to its original splendor. Features of this vehicle include Palo Alto Speedometer with the green-on-black gauges, hounds tooth seat inserts and Hella fog lamps.

This car has earned First in Class and First in Category awards at the 2009 PCA Zone 7 Meet, a First in Class at the 2010 Marin Sonoma Concours, a First in Class at the 2010 Chico Concours and First in Class, Best Porsche and Best of Show awards at the 2010 Legends of the Autobahn show in Carmel.

In 2011, the car was offered for sale at the Gooding & Company auction held in Pebble Beach, CA. It was estimated to sell for $100,000-$130,000 and offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for the sum of $134,750 including buyer's premium.
