Its first race was the Daytona 24 Hour driven by Joe Buzzetta and Dick Attwood. It led until being retired with mechanical failures. It then ran the Monza 1,000 ks, which it won being driven by Jo Siffert and Brian Redman. It also came in 3rd at Spa driven by Vick Elford and Hans Hermann. After the 1969 season, 908.026 was rebodied as a Spyder and sold to a private German driver who raced it extensively in Europe. |
