1987 Porsche 959 Coupe

This Porsche 959 'Komfort' was completed on April 13, 1988, wearing an 'S7' Silver Metallic paint scheme with a black leather (99) interior. It was optioned with an alarm system and heated, electrically adjustable sport seats. Mounted mid-ship was a 'M959/50' 2.85-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine.

It spent time in Europe before it was imported to the United States in May of 2002 to Scotts Valley, California, and to Canepa Design. While at Canepa Design, it was given a 'Stage One' engine upgrade, increasing horsepower to 600 hp. The work included the addition of Garrett AiResearch twin turbochargers, upgraded wastegates, a new engine management system and ignition system, upgrades to the fuel system, alternator charge system and battery module, with titanium heat shielding and a redesigned stainless exhaust. A total of 369 new components were added during the build. Additional updates made by Canepa included a 959 S style coil-over suspension and removing the hydraulically adjustable suspension.

On June 5, 2015, the Porsche was sold by Canepa with 13,797 miles to MTC Wholesale based in Campbell, California. In 2020 it joined a southern California automobile collection. Shortly thereafter, it was given a thorough inspection by Fast Cars Ltd. of Redondo Beach, California (with 14,430 miles) with work that included new tires, a fresh battery, and an oil and filter change.

Currently, this Porsche 959 has 14,659 miles on its odometer. It has a rare multi-piece tool kit and warning triangle contained in bags matched to the interior leather.
