1956 Nash Ambassador Special Custom Sedan

  • Chassis Number: V144485
  • Engine Number: P86988
This yellow and green-themed Nash Ambassador Custom is fitted with a Packard 352 cubic-inch V8 under the hood, and a Packard Ultramatic automatic transmission. This car has 68,000 miles and is unrestored, although the owner believed parts of the body have been repainted in the original colors. The styling of this car has its origins in the body that Nash commissioned Pininfarina to design for the 1952 model year. By 1956 the rear end had been heavily restyled, and quad headlights had been added. The final Nash Ambassador was produced in 1957, after which the Ambassador became merely a designation for top-line variants of AMC and Rambler brands.
