This commercial Ford Model T was probably purchased as a rolling chassis and then sent to a truck builder for its body. There were many configurations for the commercial Model T; some were flatbeds to pickup trucks. Their style varied with their purpose. Custom commercial bodies for the Model T continued until 1917, when Ford began producing their own trucks. They did, however, continue to sell a bare chassis.
